Flatwoods’ team of highly qualified ecologists has an extensive background in aquatic resource management. We have been trained and audited by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for surface water grab sampling, stream habitat assessments, and periphyton and benthic invertebrate sampling. In addition, our team has expertise in the Wetland Assessment Procedure (WAP) developed by the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) and commonly used to measure wetland decline and recovery with respect to groundwater withdrawal.
